MY OWN TESTIMONY TO
ANSWERED PRAYER
I don’t as a rule publish my own testimonies, but I thought this may be an exception being from my own personal experience and by sharing it with you, it may add strength to your own faith and belief in Divine healing.

I myself contacted spinal meningitis at an early age and survived only to be left with a diseased ear. Over the years, right into adult life I underwent three major and two minor operations to remove tumours and to try and correct the problem. Because of constant discharge I had to wear a dry dressing in my ear for most of my life and suffer constant pain. I had resigned myself to the fact that this was a condition that I would have to put up with for the rest of my life.
One morning, just after last Christmas I was sitting at the altar in the Sanctuary. I was taking the morning service along with my prayer partners, and was in deep meditation and prayer when all of a sudden it felt like two large hands had grasped my head covering both my ears and for a moment I experienced total deafness. It seemed to last for a long time but it must only have been seconds. I was shaken by the experience and after the service I mentioned the incident to those present, but soon after the incident was forgotten.
Over the following weeks, I started to notice a change in the discharge from my ear. It appeared to be drying up and as time went on I found I needed to apply the dry dressing less and less in my ear until the day came I stopped altogether.
On 5th June last year I had one of my six monthly checks on my ear with the local hospital ENT consultant. He did an internal investigation and declared the ear was clean and dry. He then arranged for another appointment for six months later. Even as I write this article, my ear is dry and I have had no pain or discomfort since and I now only have to see the consultant once every 12 months.

One day I asked the Lord for a sign and He responded – HE, healed me. Thank You Father.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
0 dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands.
We place our sick under Your care
and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge
Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.
Amen
